Barge transports

GCT is a barge / inland terminal in the border area between Deurne and Schoten, beside the Albert-Canal, just 10 miles from the Antwerp main terminals with a motorway junction close by.  It provides easy access to all destinations in Belgium and is on the main highway routes going North (Netherlands), South (France) and East (Germany).

This enables us to provide fast and efficient transport services.

Currently GCT has 2 barge services: “sailings from and to”

Rotterdam:	1 pusher + 2 barges (144 tons + 196 tons)
	3 round trips per week
Antwerp:	We co-operate with several push barge companies to offer a daily service between the Antwerp terminals and GCT

2. Afvaarten:

To Rotterdam:	departure Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons
To Antwerp:	daily (Depending on volume)

Opening times for collection and delivery:

Gate operation:	6.00am until 20.00pm
Barge operation:	6.00am until 22.00pm
